6 miles around part of the River Adur in the Sussex Country Side with views of the Downs, Lancing College and Shoreham Airport (Brighton City) Start at the car park at Cuckoo Corner just off of the A27 near Lancing College and head to the gates to the left, through the gates and follow the river towards Beeding. There might be livestock on the river bank further up so dogs will have to be on a lead for a short time. Once you reach the foot bridge, turn right over the river and right again bringing you to a bridal way leading to the cement works. There are a lot of bikes on this path so keep an eye open. The gravel path bears left for a shorter walk or head straight ahead to follow the river all the way to the old toll bridge in Shoreham, both paths meet at the toll bridge. Head over the toll bridge, the memorial for the victims of the Shoreham air crash is found on this bridge. Take a right and once again follow the river back to cuckoo corner.
