The Estadio Luis Franzini (or Luis Franzini Stadium) is an outdoor football stadium located in Montevideo, Uruguay. The stadium's maximum capacity is 16,000 people, and it is the home ground of Defensor Sporting. The stadium was closed during the 1997 season for renovations. It reopened on 16 August 1998 with the name Nuevo Estadio Luis Franzini.

Artigas Boulevard is an avenue in Montevideo named after Uruguayan hero José Artigas. The avenue was commissioned by Garetado Fredito, the Minister of Transport and Public Works, in 1891. It starts from the Rambla of Montevideo (coastal avenue) at Punta Carretas, goes north for about 6.5 kilometers, turns 100° west, and runs for another 4 kilometers up to the Rambla at Capurro - Bella Vista.

Club de Golf del Uruguay is an Uruguayan sports and social club from the city of Montevideo. Although golf is the main sport of the institution, the club hosts a large variety of sports such as billar, basketball, basque pelota, fencing, football, futsal, karate, rugby union and swimming apart from other social activities.

The Memorial to the Holocaust of the Jewish People (Spanish: Memorial del Holocausto del Pueblo Judío) is an outdoor memorial dedicated to victims of the Holocaust.The memorial is located at the junction of Rambla Presidente Wilson and Artigas Boulevard, in the Montevidean neighbourhood of Punta Carretas, on the shores of the River Plate, in Uruguay.

Barrio Jardín is a small neighbourhood of Montevideo, Uruguay, which is part of barrio Parque Rodó. It was formerly known as "Parque del Pueblo". It is delimited by España Boulevard to its north, 21 de Setiembre Avenue to its south and west and Artigas Boulevard to its east. Directly to the north is situated the Faculty of Architecture of the University of the Republic, while to its east is the barrio Pocitos.

Punta Carretas Shopping is a shopping mall of Montevideo, Uruguay. It is located in the neighborhood Punta Carretas.

Parque Rodó is both a barrio (neighbourhood or district) of Montevideo, Uruguay and a park which lies mostly outside the limits of the barrio itself and belongs to Punta Carretas. The name "Rodó" has been given in memory of José Enrique Rodó, an important Uruguayan writer whose monument is in the southern side of the main park.

The Church of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart (Spanish: Iglesia de Nuestra Señora del Sagrado Corazón), popularly known as Iglesia Punta Carretas (due to its location in the neighbourhood of Punta Carretas) is a Roman Catholic parish church in Montevideo, Uruguay.The parish was established 30 October 1919.

Joaquin Suarez's high school was the first public secondary school in Pocitos, in the city of Montevideo. From 1944 to 1948 its location was in Magallanes street where he shared the building with the Italian School, a place that later the Faculty of Economics and Faculty of Humanities later. That same year, Professor Juan Carlos Sábat Pébet, writer, journalist, historical researcher and poet, (elected director Joaquín Suárez 1945), is the driving force behind the transfer of this high school to the district Pocitos, Spain 2772 Boulevard street.
