Tasker Milward Voluntary Controlled School was a secondary school in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, South West Wales, that taught through the medium of English. It had 750 students in 2016, significantly fewer than in 2009, when there were 1,100. It was ranked red by the Welsh government categorisation scheme in 2015, but made considerable improvements in 2016.) The Sixth Form was a member of the "Haverfordwest federation", which linked it with Sir Thomas Picton School and Pembrokeshire College.

Pembrokeshire College is a further education college with a campus in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, in Wales. A further campus, the Marine and Information Technology Centre (MITEC) in Milford Haven (51.7128°N 5.0436°W / 51.7128; -5.0436 (Pembrokeshire College, Marine and Information Technology Centre)) offers courses in welding and fabrication.

Merlin's Bridge (Welsh: Bont Myrddin) is a village and a community south of, and contiguous with, Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, on the A4076 to Milford Haven.Merlin's Bridge has its own elected community council which meets monthly, and is an electoral ward to Pembrokeshire County Council, electing one county councillor.

Haroldston St Issells is a parish in Pembrokeshire, Wales, on the upper reaches of the River Cleddau, 1 mile (1.6 km) southeast of Haverfordwest. Its area is 1,104 acres (447 ha); Haroldston church is co-located with Lower Haroldston and is a small attractive building. Haroldston ruins and Lower Haroldston can both be viewed from a circular walk along the banks of the Cleddau.

Haverfordwest power station supplied electricity to the town of Haverfordwest, Wales and the surrounding area from 1931 to the late 1960s. It was initially owned and operated by the West Cambrian Power Company Limited, then by the British Electricity Authority following nationalisation in 1948. It comprised diesel engines driving electricity alternators.

Haverfordwest Priory is the name of an electoral ward in Pembrokeshire, Wales. It covers the southern edge of the town of Haverfordwest, mostly west of the river but including Haverfordwest railway station at its eastern extreme, the Haverfordwest Priory from which it takes its name and the residential areas bounded by Freeman's Way and surrounding the Pembrokeshire College campus.
