Cardiff Bay (Welsh: Bae Caerdydd) is the area of water created by the Cardiff Barrage in south Cardiff, the capital of Wales. It is also the name commonly given to the surrounding areas of the city. Cardiff Bay is also used as a metonym for Welsh politics, because it is the location of the Senedd (the Welsh Parliament).

Third Floor Gallery was an independent charitable photography gallery in Cardiff Bay, Wales. It opened in 2010 and predominantly featured documentary photography, often premiering new work with the direct involvement of the photographers. It closed in 2016.Third Floor Gallery was set up and initially run by its founding trustees, photographers Maciej Dakowicz and Joni Karanka, and later photographer Bartosz Nowickii, with help from volunteers.

The Norwegian Church Arts Centre (Welsh: Canolfan Gelfyddydau'r Eglwys Norwyaidd) is a point of cultural and historical interest located in Cardiff Bay (Tiger Bay), Wales. It was a Lutheran Church, consecrated in 1868. Under the patronage of The Norwegian Seamen's Mission provided home comforts, communication with family and a place of worship for Scandinavian sailors and the Norwegian community in Cardiff for over a hundred years.

Cardiff Bay Barrage (Welsh: Morglawdd Bae Caerdydd) lies across the mouth of Cardiff Bay, Wales between Queen Alexandra Dock and Penarth Head. It was one of the largest civil engineering projects in Europe during construction in the 1990s.

Cardiff Bay Police Station (which replaced Butetown Police Station) is the South Wales Police Eastern Division area headquarters and custody suite, located on James Street, Cardiff, Wales.

The 2018 Cardiff National Eisteddfod was held in Cardiff Bay, Wales, from 3 to 11 August 2018. It was the seventh time the National Eisteddfod of Wales had been held in Cardiff. The 2018 event was billed as the Eisteddfod with "No fences" because it dispensed with the traditional enclosed 'Maes', or entrance fees to the event location.

The A4160 is a road between Cardiff and Penarth in Wales. Its role as the main road between Cardiff city centre and Penarth has largely been superseded by the A4055 and A4232 roads via Cardiff Bay.The route begins at Fitzalan Place on the junction at Newport Road (A4161) and West Grove. It heads south along Fitzalan Place and then westerly along Adam Street and Bute Terrace and for a short stretch south along Bute Street before entering Callaghan Square and joining Penarth Road, continuing in a southwesterly direction.

All Souls Chapel was a large chapel which stood at Cardiff Docks, near the present Roald Dahl Plass. It was demolished in the 1950s.

Llandough Platform was a short-lived railway station which served the village of Llandough in the Vale of Glamorgan.The station was at the head of the Llandough Sidings, which had a capacity of 978 wagons. The station closed in 1918, after a mere fourteen years.No trace remains of the station today. The Llandough Sidings no longer exist, and the site was wasteground by the late 1980s, with the location of Llandough Platform marked by a signpost.

St Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in Grangetown, Cardiff, is part of the Cardiff West Deanery of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Cardiff. It opened on St Patrick's Day 1930.
