House of Illustration is a public arts organisation dedicated to illustration, founded by Sir Quentin Blake and based in London, England. From 2014 to 2020, it was located at 2 Granary Square in the London Borough of Camden, but the site is currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.In August 2020 it was announced that the House of Illustration will relocate to the 18th century Engine House at New River Head in the Clerkenwell area of London, with the intention of opening in the autumn of 2022.

The Metropolitan Cattle Market (later Caledonian Market), just off the Caledonian Road in the parish of Islington (now the London Borough of Islington) was built by the City of London Corporation and was opened in June 1855 by Prince Albert. The market was supplementary to the meat market at Smithfield and was established to remove the difficulty of managing live cattle at that latter site.

The Gasworks Tunnel is a set of three parallel railway tunnels carrying the East Coast Main Line from London King's Cross terminus under Regent's Canal. Each 1,585 ft (483 m) bore has two tracks.The first of the multiple tunnels was built as part of the construction of the Great Northern Railway opening in 1852.

It has been cited as an example of a privately owned public space in London. The new Central Saint Martins complex is adjacent.The square incorporates a fountain consisting of 1,080 individual jets rising from the flush paved surface of the plaza.

Battlebridge Basin is a canal basin in the London Borough of Islington. It is located off the Regent's Canal.

The Bemerton Estate is a social housing estate to the north of Bingfield Street and west of the Caledonian Road, in the London Borough of Islington. It was built in the late 1960s and early 1970s, and named after Bemerton Street, the northern part of which it replaced.The estate has suffered from crime and anti-social behaviour and was considered for demolition but the plans were rejected as uneconomic in 2011.

Bemerton Street is a street in Barnsbury, King's Cross, in the London Borough of Islington. It runs from Bingfield Street in the north to Copenhagen Street in the south. It is joined on its eastern side by Twyford Street and on the western side by Clayton Crescent.
