Columbus Avenue

Verdi Square is a small triangle on Upper West Side of Manhattan, New York City. It is between 72nd Street on the south, 73rd Street on the north, Broadway on the west, and Amsterdam Avenue on the east. On the south the square fronts West 72nd Street; across the street to the south lies Sherman Square.

The Giuseppe Verdi Monument is a sculpture in honor of composer Giuseppe Verdi located in Verdi Square Park (between West 72nd and West 73rd streets, between Amsterdam Avenue and Broadway) in Manhattan, New York City. The statue, by Pasquale Civiletti (1858–1952), depicts Verdi flanked by four of his most popular characters: Falstaff (on the west side of the statue of Verdi), Leonora of La forza del destino (south side), Aida (north side), and Otello (east side).

Sherman Square is a pocket park bounded by Broadway, Amsterdam Avenue, and West 70th Street on the Upper West Side of Manhattan, in New York City, just south of Verdi Square. Acquired by the city in 1849, the small parcel of land was named in 1891 for William Tecumseh Sherman, who had once lived nearby.

The Bard Graduate Center: Decorative Arts, Design History, Material Culture is a graduate research institute and gallery located in New York City. It is affiliated with Bard College, located in Annandale-on-Hudson, New York. The gallery occupies a six-story townhouse at 18 West 86th Street while the academic building and library are located at 38 West 86th Street.

The Theater at Blessed Sacrament, formerly the Arclight Theatre and currently known as Theatre 71 at Blessed Sacrament, is located at 152 West 71st Street, between Broadway and Columbus Avenues.
