The Melvin J. Berman Hebrew Academy, referred to locally as Berman or The Academy, is a coed Modern Orthodox Jewish day school serving the greater Washington area. It is in Aspen Hill, Maryland, with a Rockville postal address.The school has grades from Pre-K to 12. It was founded in 1944. The school moved to its current location in Aspen Hill in 1999, site of the former Robert E.

The Linden Oak is a large white oak tree in North Bethesda, Maryland, beside the junction of Rockville Pike and Rock Creek Park's Beach Drive. In 1976, the Linden Oak was proclaimed a Maryland Bicentennial Tree because it stood its ground, survived the American Revolution, and continues to serve an appreciative nation." In 1978, a Maryland state agency estimated that it was seeded in 1718.

The Wilkins Estate is a historic estate in Rockville, Maryland, built in 1916 by Robert Crew Wilkins, later an executive of the Wilkins Coffee Co. (later a part of Maxwell House coffee), founded in 1923 in Washington, D.C., by a relation, John H. Wilkins, Sr.
