The Canadian War Museum (French: Musée canadien de la guerre; CMW) is a national museum on the country's military history in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The museum serves as both an educational facility on Canadian military history, in addition to serving as a place of remembrance. The 440,000 square metres (4,700,000 sq ft) museum building is situated south of the Ottawa River in LeBreton Flats.

Byron Linear Tramway Park is a municipal park in Kitchissippi Ward and Bay Ward in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The park forms a narrow strip of park land that runs westward from Holland Avenue to Richardson Avenue in Woodpark, with the exception of Westboro Village (between Churchill and Golden Avenues).

The National Holocaust Monument (French: Monument national de l'Holocauste) is a Holocaust memorial in Ottawa, Ontario, across from the Canadian War Museum at the northeast corner of Wellington and Booth Streets, and about 1.5 km away from Parliament Hill. The memorial has been designed by Daniel Libeskind.

Maplelawn is an historic house and former estate located in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. The house was built between 1831 and 1834 as the centre of a farming estate by the Thomson family. In 1877 the Cole family bought the estate and lived there until 1989. The house is now owned by the National Capital Commission and it is a designated national historic site.

McKellar Park (also known as just McKellar) is a neighbourhood located in Kitchissippi Ward in the west end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is sometimes considered to be part of the greater Westboro area. It is bounded on the east by Denbury Avenue, on the south and west by Sherbourne Avenue and on the north by the Ottawa River.

Canada's Golgotha is a 32-inch-high (810 mm) bronze sculpture by the British sculptor Francis Derwent Wood, produced in 1918. It illustrates the story of the Crucified Soldier from the First World War and depicts a Canadian soldier crucified on a barn door and surrounded by jeering Germans. It is now on show at the Canadian War Museum.

The Capital Hoedown was an annual outdoor music festival that took place in August in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. Started in 2010, the three day festival was one of the largest in North America.

Ambleside is a small sub-neighbourhood of Woodroffe North in Bay Ward in the west end of Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. It is bounded in the West and North by the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway, in the East by New Orchard Avenue (North), and in the South by Richmond Road. The total population of this area was 2,546 according to the Canada 2016 Census.
