Marine Drive is a 3.6-kilometre-long Promenade along the Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Road in South Mumbai in the city of Mumbai, India. Often, the names Marine Drive and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Road are used interchangeably to refer to this 3.9km stretch. The road and promenade were constructed by late philanthropist Bhagojisheth Keer and Pallonji Mistry.

The Air India Building is a 23-storey commercial tower on Marine Drive in Nariman Point, Mumbai, India. The building served as the corporate headquarters for the Indian national airline, Air India, up to 2013. There are at least 10,800 square feet (1,000 m2) of space on each floor of the building. In February 2013, Air India officially vacated the building as part of its asset-monetisation plan, and shifted its corporate office to New Delhi.

It is the area around Marine Lines most famous for the Chandanwadi electric crematorium which opened in 1954.Chandanwadi also consisted of B.I.T Blocks which consisted of 6 buildings , demolished in 2016. The Wilson College established in 1832 Mumbai, is one of India's oldest colleges; its foundation precedes that of the University of Mumbai, to which it is affiliated, by 25 years. It was awarded an A rating by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in 2005.Located opposite Mumbai's Girgaon Chowpatty, the college building was constructed in 1889 and designed by John Adams in the domestic Victorian Gothic style.

Marine Lines is a locality in South Mumbai. The name Marine Lines is derived from the Marine Battalion Lines, a military establishment built by the British in the 19th century. The battalion was later converted to an air force residential quarters, and now lies just south of Metro Adlabs. It is also the name of a railway station on the Mumbai suburban railway on the Western Railway railway line.

Taraporewala Aquarium or Taraporevala Aquarium is India's oldest aquarium and one of the city's main attractions. It hosts marine and freshwater fishes. The aquarium is located on Marine Drive in Mumbai..It was re-opened after renovation on 3 March 2015. The renovated aquarium has a 12-feet long and 180 degree acrylic glass tunnel.
