Beijing Temple of Confucius (simplified Chinese: 北京孔庙; traditional Chinese: 北京孔廟; pinyin: Běijīng Kǒngmiào) is the second-largest Confucian temple in China, after the one in Confucius's hometown of Qufu.

Andingmen (simplified Chinese: 安定门; traditional Chinese: 安定門; pinyin: Āndìngmén; lit. "Gate of Stability") was a gate in Beijing's Ming-era city wall. The gate was torn down along with the city wall in the 1960s. Andingmen is now a place name. Where the gate once stood is now Andingmen Bridge, a roundabout overpass on the northern 2nd Ring Road.

The Bailin Temple (Chinese: 柏林寺; pinyin: Bǎilín Sì), also known as the "Monastery of the Cypress Grove", is a Tibetan Buddhist temple and monastery located in Beijing, China.

Andingmen Station (simplified Chinese: 安定门站; traditional Chinese: 安定門站; pinyin: Āndìngmén Zhàn) is a station on Line 2 of the Beijing Subway. The station is named after Andingmen, a city gate in Beijing's city wall, which was torn down during the construction of the subway in the late 1960s.

Andingmen Bridge (Chinese: 安定门桥; pinyin: Āndìngménqiáo) is a roundabout interchange bridge located on the 2nd Ring Road in Beijing. It sits on the demolished Andingmen. The Andingmen Outer Street passes directly over the 2nd Ring Road. It sits directly south of Anzhen Bridge (安贞桥). Because the Ring Road is often a traffic bottleneck, the northern stretch between Andingmen and Xiaojie Bridge is often jammed, particularly in the lead to the turn-off for the Airport Expressway.

Yonghegong Lama Temple Station (simplified Chinese: 雍和宫站; traditional Chinese: 雍和宮站; pinyin: Yōnghégōng Zhàn) is an interchange station on Line 2 and Line 5 of the Beijing Subway.

The Yonghe Temple (Chinese: 雍和宫, "Palace of Peace and Harmony"), also known as the Yonghe Lamasery, or popularly as the Lama Temple, is a temple and monastery of the Gelug school of Tibetan Buddhism located in Dongcheng District, Beijing, China. The building and artwork of the temple is a combination of Han Chinese and Tibetan styles.

The Temple of the Earth (traditional Chinese: 地壇; simplified Chinese: 地坛; pinyin: Dìtán) in Beijing, China, is located in the northern part of central Beijing, around the Andingmen area and just outside Beijing's second ring road. It is also located just a few hundred yards north of Yonghe Temple. At 42.7 hectares, it is the second largest of the four Temples of Beijing behind only the Temple of Heaven.

Guozijian Street (Chinese: 国子监街; Pinyin: Guózǐjiàn Jiē), formerly known as Chengxian Street (Chinese: 成贤街; Pinyin: Chéngxián Jiē), is a street in Dongcheng District, Beijing. It is listed as an important historical site.The Beijing Guozijian (Imperial College), dating to 1306, and a Temple of Confucius, built in 1302, are located in this street.

The Beijing Guozijian (traditional Chinese: 北京國子監; simplified Chinese: 北京国子监; pinyin: Běijīng Guózǐjiān; Wade–Giles: Pei-ching Kuo-tzu-chien), located on Guozijian Street in Beijing, China, was China's national university during the Yuan, Ming and Qing dynasties, and the last Guozijian of China. Most of the Beijing Guozijian's buildings were built during the Ming Dynasty and it remains an important heritage site in China.
