Kazimierz (Polish pronunciation: [kaˈʑimjɛʂ]; Latin: Casimiria; Yiddish: קוזמיר‎, romanized: Kuzimyr) is a historical district of Kraków and Kraków Old Town, Poland. Since its inception in the fourteenth century to the early nineteenth century, Kazimierz has been an independent city, a royal city of the Crown of the Polish Kingdom, a location south of the Old Town of Kraków, separated from it by a branch of the Vistula river.

The Kraków pogrom was a violent incident that occurred on 11 August 1945 in the Soviet-occupied city of Kraków, Poland. It formed part of a period of renewed anti-Jewish violence in Poland in the aftermath of World War II. Rumors spread that Jews in the city had killed up to 80 children over the course of weeks, which led to violence against them in the Kazimierz quarter of the city and the burning of the Kupa Synagogue.

The Corpus Christi Basilica (Polish: Bazylika Bożego Ciała), located in the Kazimierz district of Kraków, Poland is a Gothic church founded by King Casimir III the Great in 1335.

The Judaica Foundation located at ul. Meiselsa 17 street in Kraków, Poland, was created in 1991. The idea for the foundation was established already in the 1980s, influenced by the President of the Jewish community of Kraków. Committed to preserving the Jewish heritage in Kraków's old Jewish district of Kazimierz and to opening up a new platform for intercultural dialogue, the Foundation also aims at spurring interest among young people for the Jewish culture and history.

Wilga is a river in the Lesser Poland Voivodeship of Poland. The right tributary of the Vistula River, it feeds off in Kraków on Volyn Boulevard.In the upper reaches of the river there are minnows, chubs and a few brook trouts.The sources are at 370 metres (1,210 ft) elevation in Raciborsko village, Wieliczka County in the Wieliczka Foothills.

The Museum of Municipal Engineering in Kraków or the Muzeum Inżynierii Miejskiej w Krakowie is a municipal museum in Kraków, Poland; located at ul. św. Wawrzyńca 15 street in the centre of historical Kazimierz district. It was established in 1998 by the city, for the purpose of documenting and popularizing the history of the city engineering, transport as well as technological progress.

.Ohrenstein House – is an early 20th century tenement house located in Kraków, Poland. Designed by Jan Zawiejski represents a mixture of Neo-Historism and early Modernist trends in architecture, typical for the period around 1910. It was built for a Polish-Jewish wine merchant Moshe Ohrenstein and his wife Roza, née Wald, and was constructed in the years 1911–1913.
