To Barkingside

Claybury Hospital was a psychiatric hospital in Woodford Bridge, London. It was built to a design by the English architect George Thomas Hine who was a prolific Victorian architect of hospital buildings. It was opened in 1893 making it the Fifth Middlesex County Asylum. Historic England identified the hospital as being "the most important asylum built in England after 1875".

Fairlop is a district in the north of Ilford, part of the London Borough of Redbridge in east London. The district consists of fields, forestry and open land providing space for sport/ activity centres (Redbridge Sport Centre), some houses, farmland and watersport/fishing lakes (Fairlop Waters). It also has a tube station.

Population expansion in the area had led the ancient parish church of St Mary's Church, Woodford to rent an infant school for services in 1851. A permanent church was built in 1854 as a district chapelry.

Fullwell Cross is a district of Ilford in the London Borough of Redbridge, North-East London. Now forming the northwest part of neighbouring Barkingside. It is named for the roundabout at the northern end of the A123 Barkingside High Street, itself named after Adam Fulwell who leased a farm in the area from Barking Abbey.

St Barnabas' Church, Woodford Green is a Church of England church in Snakes Lane East, Woodford, London. It had its origins in a 1904 iron mission church - this was attached to St Paul's Church, Woodford. A permanent church was built between 1910 and 1911, with a lady chapel, organ chamber, chancel and two bays of an aisled nave - the nave was completed in 1964.

St John's RC School is a Roman Catholic special school located in Essex, England. The school is located south of Chigwell in the Epping Forest District of Essex, but is closer to Woodford Green in the London Borough of Redbridge.The school educates pupils aged 5 to 19 years old who have moderate to severe learning difficulties, including communication difficulties and autism.

Woodford is a London Underground station in the town of Woodford in the London Borough of Redbridge, East London. The station is on the Central line, between South Woodford and Buckhurst Hill stations and is in Travelcard Zone 4. The station also acts as a terminus for services via the Hainault loop.

Roding Valley is a London Underground station situated in Buckhurst Hill in the Epping Forest district of Essex immediately to the north of the boundary with Greater London (the London Borough of Redbridge). The station is on the Hainault loop of the Central line between Chigwell and Woodford stations.
