Auld Lang Syne (house)

Auld Lang Syne is one of the oldest houses on the island Nantucket, Massachusetts and is located at 6 Broadway in Siasconset. The oldest part of the house was constructed around 1675 making it possibly older than the more well-known, Jethro Coffin House. Auld Lang Syne was constructedby Michael [or Micah] Coffin, who employed Native Americans to fish for him while he remained ashore to do the cooking.

Nantucket Beacon

The Nantucket Beacon formed a range with the Brant Point Light to guide vessels into Nantucket harbor. Operated at various times in the 19th century, it was deactivated sometime after 1870. This range was eventually succeeded by the Nantucket Harbor Range Lights, which are still in operation.
