The Capture of the French Folly Fort by British forces in China occurred on 6 November 1856 during the Second Opium War. The British dispersed 23 Chinese war junks and captured the French Folly fort in the Pearl River near the city of Canton (Guangzhou) in Guangdong province. The battle lasted nearly an hour.

Cultural Park Station (Chinese: 文化公园站) is an interchange station between Line 6 and Line 8 of the Guangzhou Metro, and also the terminus of Line 8. It is located underground in the Liwan District and started operation on 28 December 2013.

The wharf is at the intersection of Beijing Road and Yanjiang Road Middle. It's currently a wharf of the Guangzhou Water Bus, and serves the ferries between Fangzhi Wharf and several water bus routes.

Jiefang Bridge (Chinese: 解放大桥, literally “Liberation Bridge”) is a bridge in Guangzhou, China. The bridge connects the Haizhu District with the Yuexiu District, and is one of nine bridges connecting Haizhu with downtown Guangzhou and the business districts. On its north side is Jiefang South Rd (解放南路) and on its south side is Tongqing Rd (同庆路).

Haizhu Bridge (simplified Chinese: 海珠桥; traditional Chinese: 海珠橋) is an iron bridge across the Pearl River in Guangzhou, China.The bridge runs from Haizhu Square in Yuexiu District, and south towards Jiangnan Avenue in Haizhu District.Haizhu Bridge was the first bridge to be built across the Pearl River in Guangzhou.

Haizhu Square (Chinese: 海珠广场; pinyin: Hǎizhū Guǎngchǎng) is a public square located in Yuexiu District, Guangzhou, China. It is located on the riverfront. Its centrepiece is the Guangzhou Liberation Statue, erected in 1959. In 1963 the square and its environs were named as one of the Eight Sights of Guangzhou.
