Sochi Vinogradnaya

Sochi (Russian: Со́чи, IPA: [ˈsotɕɪ] (listen)) is a city in Krasnodar Krai, Russia, located on the Black Sea coast near the border between Georgia/Abkhazia and Russia. The Greater Sochi area, which includes territories and localities subordinated to Sochi proper, has a total area of 3,526 square kilometers (1,361 sq mi) and sprawls for 145 kilometers (90 mi) along the shores of the Black Sea near the Caucasus Mountains.

The 40th G8 summit was due to be held in Russia in 2014. The meeting was planned for June 4–5, 2014 at the Black Sea resort of Sochi. However, the other seven countries decided on March 24 that a summit would be held without Russia, in Brussels, Belgium. It was held in Brussels on June 4–5.Following 2014 Crimean crisis and accompanying Russian intervention in Crimea, there was talk of suspending or expelling Russia from the G8.

The Sochi Arboretum is a unique collection of subtropical flora and fauna. It is a monument of landscape architecture located in the Khosta district of the city of Sochi, Krasnodar Krai, in Russia. It includes 76 species of pine, 80 species of oak, and 24 species of palm.

The Sochi (Russian: Сочи Soči; Abkhaz Шәача Š°ača Caucasian pronunciation: [ʃʷatɕʰa]; Adyghe Шъачэ; Ubykh Шьача) is a river in the city of Sochi in Krasnodar Krai, Russia. It is 45 kilometres (28 mi) long, and the area of its basin 296 square kilometres (114 sq mi). Originating at Bolshaya Shura Mountain in the Greater Caucasus Mountains, it flows southwest and enters the Black Sea at Sochi, itself named for the river and site of the 2014 Winter Olympic Games.
