Quinnipiac University () is a private university in Hamden, Connecticut. The university grants undergraduate, graduate, and professional degrees through its College of Arts and Sciences, School of Business, School of Engineering, School of Communication, School of Health Sciences, School of Law, School of Medicine, School of Nursing, and School of Education.

Quinnipiac University School of Law is the law school of Quinnipiac University. It is the newest law school in the U.S. state of Connecticut, having received full accreditation from the American Bar Association in 1992. It is a member of the Association of American Law Schools. It is currently ranked 125th by U.

The Frank H. Netter M.D. School of Medicine at Quinnipiac University, also known colloquially as Quinnipiac Medical School, or simply "Netter," is a medical school located in North Haven, Connecticut. Established in 2010 (and welcoming its first class in 2013), it is one of the newest medical schools in the United States.

Burt Kahn Court is a 2,000-seat multi-purpose arena in Hamden, Connecticut. It was the home of the Quinnipiac University Bobcats basketball team from 1969 to 2006 until the TD Bank Sports Center was opened. The Bobcats held a 254–184 record while playing at the facility. It is the current home of Bobcats volleyball.

Sleeping Giant (also known as Mount Carmel) is a rugged traprock mountain with a high point of 739 feet (225 m), located eight miles (13 km) north of New Haven, Connecticut. A prominent landscape feature visible for miles, the Sleeping Giant receives its name from its anthropomorphic resemblance to a slumbering human figure as seen from either the north or south.
