The 2017 Turin stampede occurred on 3 June 2017 when panic emerged in the Piazza San Carlo after a robbery attempt during a screening of the UEFA Champions League Final in Turin, Italy between Torinese club Juventus and Real Madrid. Three people died as a result of the incident, and at least 1,672 people were injured.
