Via the Congaree, it is part of the watershed of the Santee River, which flows to the Atlantic Ocean.

Randolph Cemetery is a historic African-American cemetery located at Columbia, South Carolina. It was established in 1872 and expanded in 1899. It was named for Benjamin F. Randolph (1820 – 1868), who was reburied at the cemetery in 1871. Gravemarkers include both manufactured and vernacular homemade varieties.
