Geraldton Foreshore

Geraldton (often informally abbreviated to Gero) is a coastal city in the Mid West region of the Australian state of Western Australia, 424 kilometres (263 mi) north of the state capital, Perth.At June 2018, Geraldton had an urban population of 37,648. Geraldton is the seat of government for the City of Greater Geraldton, which also incorporates the town of Mullewa, Walkaway and large rural areas previously forming the shires of Greenough and Mullewa.

Geraldton railway station was located on the Kwinana-Geraldton and Northampton lines in Western Australia. It served the city of Geraldton.

Beresford is a northern coastal suburb of Geraldton, Western Australia. Its local government area is the City of Greater Geraldton.The suburb was gazetted in 1972.

6GGG is a commercial radio station in Geraldton, Western Australia which has been broadcasting since 1937. It was once part of the Whitford Radio Network which also included 6PM Perth and 6AM Northam. In 1991 it converted from 1008 AM to 96.5 FM and changed its callsign to 6GGG as the 2nd commercial FM station in Regional WA after opposition Geraldton station 98FM had launched earlier in 1991.
