The University of the Sunshine Coast (USC) is a public university based on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. After opening with 524 students in 1996 as the Sunshine Coast University College, it was later renamed the University of the Sunshine Coast in 1999.The university has a flagship campus at Sippy Downs on the Sunshine Coast, with more campuses at Hervey Bay on the Fraser Coast, Gympie, Caboolture, and South Bank in Brisbane.

Matthew Flinders Anglican College (MFAC) is an independent Anglican co-educational primary and secondary day school located in Buderim, approximately 90 kilometres (56 mi) north of Brisbane, on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, Australia. Founded in 1990 and named in honour of Matthew Flinders, the College has grown from an enrolment of 160 students in its foundation year, to over 1,300 students in 2015.

Sunshine Coast Theological College (SCTC), formerly known as Westminster Theological College, was a Bible college in Buderim, Queensland which was affiliated with the Australian College of Theology until SCTC's closure in 2016. The college had offered a Bachelor of Christian Studies, an associate degree in Theology, advanced diplomas and diplomas.
