Peasholm Park is an oriental themed municipal park located in the seaside town of Scarborough, North Yorkshire, England. It opened in 1912 and became a favourite venue for galas, displays and exhibitions. The park was extended to include Peasholm Glen, a natural ravine, in 1924. Attractions include an artificial boating lake, where mock naval battles are staged, a putting green and a champion tree walk.

The Manor of Northstead is a former medieval estate in North Yorkshire, England. The manor house no longer exists, and the land has since been redeveloped and forms part of modern-day Scarborough, in the area of Peasholm Park and Scarborough Open Air Theatre. The ancient title of the Crown Steward and Bailiff of the Manor of Northstead persisted beyond the manor, however, being used since the nineteenth century as a sinecure post which plays a role in the procedure for effecting resignation from the British House of Commons.

The Floral Hall was an entertainment venue in Scarborough, Yorkshire, England. It was demolished in 1989 and replaced by the Scarborough Bowls Centre.

The Opera House Casino is a casino located in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, England. It took three years to build and was expected to employ about 110 people, when it opened in October 2005.The casino was a £7 million development funded by the Shaw family, headed by Nikolas Shaw and was the biggest entertainment investment in Scarborough for over thirty years.

The Clifton Hotel is a small, late Victorian hotel in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, England. The hotel stands on the North Bay cliff tops and was home to soldiers on home duty during both the First World War and Second World War. The location of the building offers commanding views of the North Sea.During the First World War, the hotel was known as the Clarence Gardens Hotel and was home to Wilfred Owen, soldier and war poet, who wrote many of his early war poems while on service and the single occupant of the tower room.

St Mary's Church is a parish church in Scarborough, North Yorkshire in the Church of England. It stands high above the old town, just below Scarborough Castle.
