Plas Powis woods Bersham

Bersham Ironworks were large ironworks at Bersham, near Wrexham, Wales. They are most famous for being the original working site of John Wilkinson. They were also the first site in the world to use a new way of boring holes in cannon and steam engine cylinders.

Bersham (Welsh: Y Bers) is a small Welsh village in the suburbs of the county borough of Wrexham that lies next to the River Clywedog, and in the community of Esclusham. Wrexham owes a large amount of its original industrial heritage to Bersham, but despite this the village still retains a rural feeling.

Nant Mill is a country park in the county of Wrexham, North East Wales. It is managed by Wrexham County Borough and named after a historic corn mill located at the site. It forms part of the Clywedog Trail and includes a visitor centre and two woods, Nant Wood and Plas Power from which Offa's Dyke can be seen.

Rhostyllen (pronounced [r̥ɔsˈtəɬən], Ross-tuth-l'n) was a minor railway station of the Great Western Railway, located on the Rhos Branch just off the Shrewsbury to Chester Line a couple of miles south of Wrexham in Wales. Rhostyllen was a mining area and the rail-served Bersham Colliery was just to the south.

The Clywedog Trail is a 9-mile (14 km) footpath close to Wrexham in Wales. Starting at the Minera Lead Mines (53.0512°N 3.0811°W / 53.0512; -3.0811 (Clywedog Trail, Minera Lead Mines trailhead)) and running to King's Mills (53.0358°N 2.9750°W / 53.0358; -2.9750 (Clywedog Trail, King's Mills trailhead)), it follows the course of the River Clywedog.
