Kandawgyi Lake (Burmese: ကန်တော်ကြီး pronounced [kàndɔ̀dʑí]; literally "great royal lake", formerly Royal Lake), is one of two major lakes in Yangon, Burma (Myanmar). Located east of the Shwedagon Pagoda, the lake is artificial; water from Inya Lake is channelled through a series of pipes to Kandawgyi Lake.

The Bogyoke Aung San Museum (Burmese: ဗိုလ်ချုပ် အောင်ဆန်း ပြတိုက်), located in Bahan, Yangon, is a museum dedicated to General Aung San, the founder of modern Myanmar (Burma). Established in 1962, the two-story museum was Aung San's last residence before his assassination in July 1947. It is a colonial-era villa, built in 1921, where his daughter Aung San Suu Kyi grew up as a child.

The Yangon Zoological Gardens (Yangon Zoo) (Burmese: ရန်ကုန် တိရိစ္ဆာန် ဥယျာဉ် [jàɴɡòʊɴ təɹeɪʔsʰàɴ ʔṵjɪ̀ɴ]) is the oldest and the second largest zoo in Myanmar. Located immediately north of downtown Yangon near Kandawgyi Lake, the 70-acre (28 ha) recreational park also includes a museum of natural history, an aquarium and an amusement park.

Karaweik (Burmese: ကရဝိက် ဖောင် [kəɹəweɪʔ pʰàʊɴ]) or Karaweik Hall is a palace on the eastern shore of Kandawgyi Lake, Yangon, Burma.

The Kandawgyi Palace Hotel was a five-star hotel and historical landmark overlooking the Kandawgyi Lake in Yangon, Myanmar. The hotel caught fire on the morning of Thursday, 19 October 2017 and was destroyed.

The Yangon Ear, Nose and Throat Hospital (Burmese: ရန်ကုန် နား နှာခေါင်း လည်ချောင်း ဆေးရုံ) is a public specialist hospital located in Yangon, Myanmar. The Yangon ENT Hospital was called the Yangon Eye, Ear, Nose and Throat (EENT) Hospital on Alanpya Road. It was moved to the current location in 2000.

The Yangon Workers' Hospital (Burmese: အလုပ်သမား ဆေးရုံကြီး (ရန်ကုန်)) is a public hospital in Yangon, Myanmar. It is one of the three social security hospitals and provides free medical services to insured workers with the Social Security Board. It is also a teaching hospital of University of Medicine 1, Yangon.

Ice Wonderland was a tech-driven theme park created by Chinese sculptors. It was located at Kandawgyi Park in the Yangon region of Southeast Asia. The park was a joint venture between Jian Xi Long Dai Culture Limited and Asia Myanmar Consortium Development. Construction of the park began in September 2011 and it opened to the public on February 25, 2012, but closed a year later.
