At the beginning you are walking past the local shops , lots of Coffee Shops and a couple of Restaurants, you are walking a path that is steadily going uphill not too steep, I keep walking to Rock Street, I go past the bus stop then cross over the road, where you can see a steep path leading down to the beach path, there is a set of public toilets there and BBQ areas with covered tables and chairs. You can see the end of the path where I usually turn to return if coming from the other end. Then there is the path that leads out to the sea, that’s good to walk on, if no one has beaten me to it. I then walk along the path past Pirate Park it’s a kiddies spot, it has a train that you can imagine with while playing on it. I pass what looks like Scarborough’s version of Stonehenge, the Pines are lovely keep walking till we are opposite our beautiful huge Cotton tree, this is lit up at night, currently Blue. The path then starts to get a little higher and higher, not too steep, I go along till the second lamp post, to the tap then turn around and back down, there is a fork I go left to head home it’s up a bit of a hill though keep going towards the bus stop and cross the road to home again.
