Woodham Academy (simply referred to as Woodham and formerly Woodham Community Technology College) is an 11–16 mixed secondary school with academy status in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, England. It was formerly a foundation school that was established in 1970 and adopted its present name after becoming an academy in 2012.

Newton Aycliffe Football Club is an English football club based in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham. The club's ground is the Moore Lane Sports Club Ground. They play in the Northern League Division One.

Newton Aycliffe railway station serves the town of Newton Aycliffe in County Durham, England. The station is on the Tees Valley Line and is operated by Northern who provide all passenger train services.Station facilities here have been improved as part of the Tees Valley Metro project. The package for this station included new fully lit waiting shelters, digital CIS displays, renewed station signage and the installation of CCTV.

Greenfield Community College is a secondary school on the outskirts of Newton Aycliffe. It was opened in 1974 and it has been visited by Tony Blair on 30 June 2000 when it was awarded specialist status as an Arts and Science College.Greenfield provides a range of opportunities in and out of the classroom.

Woodham Golf and Country Club (formerly known as Rushyford Golf Club) is a golf club in Newton Aycliffe, County Durham, England. The course, set over 229 acres (0.93 km2) of parkland, opened in 1981, and was designed by James Hamilton-Stutt. The club's head professional is Ernie Wilson. Which was in administration but now been bought by Hall Construction Services and is now open.
