Discovery Bay to Mui Ho and back

Nim Shue Wan is the south facing bay on the south side of Discovery Bay, Lantau Island, Hong Kong. Nim Shue Wan village was a small fishing village but now has become a dormitory village for workers at nearby Discovery Bay.

Discovery College (Chinese: 智新書院) is a private independent school operated by the ESF in Discovery Bay, Hong Kong. It offers both primary and secondary education on one campus. The school opened in August 2008, replacing another ESF school, Bauhinia School. Discovery College has five houses, and provides education from year 1 to year 13.

Discovery Bay International School (Chinese: 愉景灣國際學校) is a private school and one of two British schools in Hong Kong as well as member of the Federation of British International Schools in Asia.Founded in 1983 to provide education needs to residents of the new community of Discovery Bay, DBIS provides learning from kindergarten to 7th form.

Discovery Bay Ferry Pier (Chinese: 愉景灣渡輪碼頭) is a two storey ferry pier in Discovery Bay, Lantau Island, New Territories, Hong Kong. It is located near La Costa and Costa Court and opposite Discovery Bay Plaza and a bus terminus.

Kau Shat Wan (Chinese: 狗虱灣, literally dog flea bay) was a bay located between Discovery Bay and Mui Wo on Lantau Island, New Territories, Hong Kong. In the 1990s, the Hong Kong Government decided to reclaim the bay to construct a Government explosives depot and replace the one on Stonecutters Island.

The Trappist Haven Monastery is a monastery at Tai Shui Hang (大水坑), on Lantau Island in the New Territories, Hong Kong. It is home to a number of Roman Catholic monks of the Cistercian Order of the Strict Observance, or Trappists. It adopted its new, official name Our Lady of Joy Abbey on January 15, 2000.
