Broward College is a public college in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It is part of the Florida College System. It was established in 1959 as part of a move to broaden Florida's two-year colleges. In 2008 it adopted its current name, reflecting that it is one of the schools designated a "state college", meaning it can offer four-year bachelor's degrees.

Nova High School is a public high school located in Davie, Florida and is part of the Broward County Public Schools district. It is one of four schools that comprise the Nova Center for Applied Research and Professional Development, the others being Nova Eisenhower Elementary School, Nova Blanche Forman Elementary School, and Nova Middle School.

The Nova Southeastern Sharks are the athletic teams representing Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida. They currently compete in the Sunshine State Conference. The Sunshine State Conference is often considered the "Conference of Champions", because of its national recognition. Nova Southeastern was originally an NAIA from 1982 until 2002, where they moved into the NCAA and the Sunshine State Conference.

The Alvin Sherman Library, Research, and Information Technology Center, is the largest library building in the state of Florida. The Alvin Sherman Library is a unique joint-use facility serving the residents of Broward County as well as Nova Southeastern University students, faculty, and staff members.

Nova Southeastern University (NSU or, informally, "Nova") is a private university with its main campus in Davie, Florida. The university consists of 18 colleges and schools offering over 150 programs of study. The university offers professional degrees in the social sciences, law, business, osteopathic medicine, allopathic medicine, allied health, pharmacy, dentistry, optometry, physical therapy, education, occupational therapy, and nursing.

Founded in 1979 as the only osteopathic medical school located in the Southeastern United States, the college is an academic division of Nova Southeastern University.

The Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine is the dental school of Nova Southeastern University. It is located in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, United States. When it opened in 1997, it was the first new dental school to open in the United States in 24 years. It is the largest dental school in Florida.
