Hanyang University is one of the leading private research universities of South Korea, especially in the field of engineering. The main campus is in Seoul, and its branch, the Education Research Industry Cluster at Ansan, or ERICA campus, is located in Ansan. Hanyang (한양;漢陽) derives from the former name of the capital Seoul used during the Joseon Dynasty.

Hanyang University Gymnasium is an indoor sporting arena located in Seoul, South Korea. The capacity of the arena is 8,000 people and was built in 1986 to host volleyball events at the 1988 Summer Olympics. It hosted a sport stacking task on The Amazing Race 29 and The Amazing Race Australia 4. An indoor gymnasium with two stories underground and four stories above ground with reinforced concrete truss structure built on the campus of Hanyang University in Haengdang-dong, Seongdong-gu.

Eungbong Station is a station on the Gyeongui-Jungang Line.

The Jungnangcheon (hangul: 중랑천) is a tributary of Seoul's Han River. It is generated in the valley of Dorak Mountain of Yangju, Gyeonggi-do. Cheonggyecheon is a tributary of Jungnangcheon.Its whole river basin extends to 299.9 km². Most of the stream is located in Uijeongbu and Seoul.
