The Democracy Monument (Thai: อนุสาวรีย์ประชาธิปไตย, romanized: Anusawari Prachathipatai) is a public monument in the centre of Bangkok, capital of Thailand. It occupies a traffic circle on the wide east-west Ratchadamnoen Avenue, at the intersection of Dinso Road. The monument is roughly halfway between Sanam Luang, the former royal cremation ground in front of Wat Phra Kaew, and the temple of the Golden Mount (Phu Kao Thong).

The Bangkok Corrections Museum is an incarceration museum in Bangkok, Thailand. It is located on Maha Chai Road. It was planned to follow the Brixton Prison of England. The prison museum was established in 1939 in another prison, the Bang Kwang Central Prison, which had served as a training center for corrections officers and gained the notorious title "Bangkok Hilton" in the way that the Hanoi Hilton did in Vietnam for its brutal prison history.

Chao Mae Thapthim Shrine (Thai: ศาลเจ้าแม่ทับทิม; Chinese: 水尾聖娘廟; pinyin: shuǐwěi shèng niáng miào) is a historic Chinese joss house located at 257 Chakkraphet Road, Wang Burapha Phirom Subdistrict, Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok near foot of Phra Pok Klao Bridge and Phahurat area, also known as Little India.

The Benjamarachalai School is a schoolhouse situated in the old palace of the Prince Marubongsa Siribadhana, half-brother of King Rama V, in Bangkok, Thailand. Siripat built the school in honor of King Rama V.The school has since constructed four new buildings to replace the old, wooden one. It is currently a girls' school teaching students in grades 7-12.

Bamrung Chat Satsana Ya Thai (Thai: บำรุงชาติสาสนายาไทย) or familiarly known as Ban Mo Wan (บ้านหมอหวาน) is a traditional Thai medicine store and historic building located at 9, Soi Thesa, Bamrung Mueang Road, Wat Ratchabophit Subdistrict, Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok.It was created by Wan Rotmuang (หวาน รอดม่วง) or Mo Wan (หมอหวาน; lit: Doctor Wan) under the traditional Thai medicine who lived in the reign of King Chulalongkorn (Rama V) to Ananda Mahidol (Rama VIII) (1870–1945).

Khok Wua (Thai: คอกวัว, pronounced [kʰɔ̂ːk wūa̯]) is an intersection in Bangkok. It is a four-way crossroads of Ratchadamnoen (section middle Ratchadamnoen) and Tanao roads in area of Bowon Niwet and Talat Yot sub-districts, Phra Nakhon district within Rattanakosin Island.The term Khok Wua means "cattle stable" due to the function of this area in the reign of King Nangklao (Rama III), when it was a pasture and grove wood with Hindus cow stables in order to send cow's milk to the nearby Grand Palace.

Chak Phet Road (Thai: ถนนจักรเพชร, pronounced [tʰā.nǒn t͡ɕàk pʰét]; sometimes spelled Chakkraphet or Chakphet) is an one road in the area of Wang Burapha Phirom Subdistrict, Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok, with a total length of 1,120 m (3,674 ft).Its name after a fort was called "Pom Chak Phet", southernmost of Rattanakosin Island at mouth of canal Khlong Rop Krung near the foot of Memorial Bridge in present day.

Wang Burapha Phirom is a khwaeng (subdistrict) of Phra Nakhon District, in Bangkok, Thailand. In 2017 it had a total population of 11,427 people.Its name after Wang Burapha Phirom, a former palace of Prince Bhanurangsi Savangwongse. The palace was demolished in the 1950s to build a shopping district and three cinemas under the name "Wang Burapha".

Si Kak Sao Chingcha (Thai: สี่กั๊กเสาชิงช้า, pronounced [sìː kák sǎw t͡ɕʰīŋ.t͡ɕʰáː]) is an intersection in San Chao Pho Suea sub-district, Phra Nakhon district, Bangkok. It is the four-way intersection of Thanao, Bamrung Mueang and Fueang Nakhon roads. It is the beginning of Thanao Road and from this point one can clearly see the Giant Swing from the side of Bamrung Mueang Road.

Sala Chaloem Thai (Thai: ศาลาเฉลิมไทย, pronounced [sǎː.lāː t͡ɕʰā.lɤ̌ːm tʰāj]), abbreviated as Chaloem Thai (เฉลิมไทย), was a former movie theatre in Bangkok, located at the corner of Ratchadamnoen Avenue and Mahachai Road near the Fort Mahakan, opposite what is now the Queen Sirikit Gallery.This movie theatre was built in the year 1940 in the era of Field Marshal Plaek Phibunsongkhram to be another national theatre in Thailand as well as Sala Chalermkrung Royal Theatre in Wang Burapha neighbourhood.
