Singapore Botanic Gardens

The Singapore Botanic Gardens is a 161-year-old tropical garden located at the fringe of Singapore's Orchard Road shopping district. It is one of three gardens, and the only tropical garden, to be honoured as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Botanic Gardens has been ranked Asia's top park attraction since 2013, by TripAdvisor Travellers' Choice Awards.

Symphony Lake is a lake in the Singapore Botanic Gardens, Singapore. An artificial lake, it features a large stage known as the Shaw Foundation Symphony Stage built on an islet in the middle of the water body. The stage is most known as the venue for the Singapore Symphony Orchestra's monthly SSO in the Park open-concept concerts, hence giving the lake its name.

Swan Lake is an artificial lake located at the Singapore Botanic Gardens in Singapore.The lake is located at the Tyersall Avenue entrance to the gardens within the Tanglin Core, and is one of the most well-known locations in the garden's grounds. As the name suggests, the lake's name was inspired by swans populating it.

Istana Wooden York is an abandoned two-storey palace at the former Tyersall Park, bounded by Holland Road and Tyersall Avenue, near the Singapore Botanic Gardens in Singapore. Before it was rebuilt in 1935 it was known as Istana Woodneuk. It suffered a major fire in 2006 and has been deemed beyond repair.

Istana Tyersall is a demolished historical palace that used to be located on the former Tyersall Park bound by Holland Road and Tyersall Road near the Singapore Botanic Gardens in Singapore. The land it was formerly built on is currently restricted from the public.The demolished palace had long been confused with the dilapidated Istana Woodneuk due to its proximity, which was located on another smaller hill not far away.

Eden Hall on Nassim Road, is the British High Commissioner's official residence in Singapore.It was built in 1904 for Ezekiel Saleh Manasseh, a merchant who sold rice and opium, and originally came from Baghdad, and it was designed by the architect R. A. J. Bidwell, who also designed the Raffles Hotel and the Goodwood Park Hotel.

It manages all available information and data on biodiversity in Singapore.
