Salford () is a district and the main component in the City of Salford, Greater Manchester, England, directly west of Manchester city centre in a meander of the River Irwell, which forms part of its boundary with Manchester.The wider City of Salford local government district is administered from Swinton.

Salford was, from 1844 to 1974, a local government district in the northwest of England, coterminate with Salford. It was granted city status in 1926.

Langworthy is an area of Salford, Greater Manchester. Weaste lies to the west of Langworthy and Pendleton to the east. In 2001 the population of Langworthy was 7,104, increasing to 12,935 at the 2011 Census. It was named after Edward Ryley Langworthy, a former mayor of Salford.

St Luke's Church is an Anglican church that stands on raised ground in Liverpool Street, Pendleton, Salford. The church, in the parish of Weaste, Seedley and Langworthy, is part of the Salford All Saints Team Ministry in the Salford deanery and the Manchester diocese. It was designated as a Grade II* listed building in 1980.

Seedley railway station is a disused station located in the Seedley area of Pendleton, Salford, on the Liverpool and Manchester Railway. It was opened on 1 May 1882 and closed on 2 January 1956. Parts of the station wall can still be seen but part of the trackbed has been covered over following the construction of the M602 motorway.
