Romare Bearden Park is a 5.4-acre public park located at 300 S. Church Street in Charlotte, North Carolina. Named for Charlotte born artist Romare Bearden, it opened in late August 2013. It is across the street from BB&T Ballpark, the home of the International League's Charlotte Knights.Located in Uptown Charlotte, the park offers fitness and cultural arts programs throughout the year.

The building is 425 ft (130 m) tall and includes 300 units, 487,000 sq ft (45,200 m2) of floor area, 14,000 sq ft (1.3 sq km2) of two amenity top floors and 4000 sq ft(371 sq m2) of ground floor retail.Construction began on February 1, 2015, and Ascent Uptown is the 6th residential building to begin construction in Uptown Charlotte since the end of the Great Recession.

440 South Church also known as the Ally Center is a 15-story skyscraper in Charlotte, North Carolina with 368,000 square feet (34,200 m2) of space. Smallwood, Reynolds, Stewart, Stewart & Associates designed the building, and Bovis Lend Lease was the general contractor. Major tenants are Ally Financial and HDR.

Catalyst is a 27-story 462-unit apartment building on West Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in Charlotte, North Carolina. The concrete and glass skyscraper in Third Ward, designed by Smallwood, Reynolds, Stewart, Stewart, was built by Atlanta-based Novare Group and completed in 2009.Tony Skillbeck, president of Novare Carolinas Development, said that the name reflected the building's status as "a literal catalyst for the red-development and the regeneration of Third Ward" as well as the fact that for many residents, this would be their first home purchase, "a catalyst in our buyers' lives."Groundbreaking took place August 29, 2007.
