East Dean & ‘Seven Sisters’

The Belle Tout Lighthouse (also spelled Belle Toute) is a decommissioned lighthouse and British landmark located at Beachy Head, East Sussex close to the town of Eastbourne.It has been called "Britain's most famous inhabited lighthouse" because of its striking location and use in film and television.

East Dean and Friston is a civil parish in the Wealden District of East Sussex, England.The two villages in the parish are in a dry valley on the South Downs – between Eastbourne three miles (4.8 km) to the east and Seaford an equal distance to the west. The main A259 road goes through both village centres.

Seaford to Beachy Head is a 1,108.7-hectare (2,740-acre) biological and geological Site of Special Scientific Interest which stretches from Seaford to Eastbourne in East Sussex. It has several Geological Conservation Review sites. Part of it is a Nature Conservation Review site, Grade I. An area of 150 hectares (370 acres) is a Local Nature Reserve managed by the Sussex Wildlife Trust.
