Sopot

Krzywy Domek (pronounced [ˈkʂɨvɨ ˈd̪ɔmɛk], Polish for "crooked house") is an unusually shaped building in Sopot, Poland.Krzywy Domek was built in 2004. It is about 4,000 square meters (43,000 sq ft) in size and is part of the Rezydent shopping center.It was designed by Szotyńscy & Zaleski, who were inspired by the fairytale illustrations and drawings of Jan Marcin Szancer and Per Dahlberg.

The Sopot Pier (Polish: Molo w Sopocie) - the pier in the city of Sopot, built as a pleasure pier and as a mooring point for cruise boats, first opened in 1827. At 511.5m, the pier is the longest wooden pier in Europe. It stretches into the sea from the middle of Sopot beach which is a popular venue for recreation and health walks (the concentration of iodine at the tip of the pier is twice as high as on land) or public entertainment events, and it also serves as a mooring point for cruise boats and water taxis.

Grand Hotel in Sopot, Poland was originally built in 1924–1927 at a cost of 20 million Danzig gulden as the most refined hotel in Sopot - the Kasino Hotel.As the Sofitel Grand Hotel, it is located at the seaside of the Gdańsk Bay, in the heart of the town and next to the beach. Sofitel Grand Hotel has been totally refurbished during the last years, the classical atmosphere from the earlier period is still present and the hotel is now both classical, and modern.

Ulica Bohaterów Monte Cassino (Heroes of Monte Cassino Street) is the main street of Sopot, Poland, running west to east from Aleja Niepodległości (Independence Avenue), near the railway station, to Plac Zdrojowy (Spa Square), near the seafront and pier. It is an entirely pedestrian area with no cars allowed.

The Sopot Lighthouse is a navigation facility on the Polish Baltic coast, located in Sopot. It was built in 1903-1904 as a part of the Balneological Institute. The extent of its focal length of the light has since been reduced to 7 nautical miles (13 km; 8 mi), which, according to existing criteria, no longer formally makes it a lighthouse, although it is still called so.
