Dōtonbori or Dōtombori (道頓堀, pronounced [doːtomboɾi]) is one of the principal tourist destinations in Osaka, Japan, running along the Dōtonbori canal from Dōtonboribashi Bridge to Nipponbashi Bridge in the Namba district of the city's Chuo ward. Historically a theater district, it is now a popular nightlife and entertainment area characterized by its eccentric atmosphere and large illuminated signboards.

Nipponbashi (日本橋) is a shopping district of Naniwa Ward, Osaka, Japan. The area is centered along Sakaisuji Avenue, extending from the Ebisu-chō Interchange of the Hanshin Expressway in the south, to Nansan-dōri (just east of Nankai Namba Station) in the north. Known colloquially as "Den-Den Town," Nipponbashi is known for its many shops which specialize in furniture, tools, and "otaku" interests such as electronics, anime, manga, and collectibles.

Namba (難波, Nanba, IPA: [namba]) is a district of Osaka, Japan. It is located in Chūō and Naniwa wards. Namba is regarded as the center of so-called Minami ("South") area of Osaka. Its name is one of variations on the former name of Osaka, Naniwa. Namba is best known as the city's main south-central railway terminus: JR, Kintetsu, Nankai, Hanshin, and three Osaka Metro subway lines have stations there.

Namba Parks (なんばパークス Nanba Pākusu) is an office and shopping complex located in Namba-naka Nichome, Naniwa-ku, Osaka, Japan, the south of Namba Station on Nankai Railway. It consists of a high-rise office building called Parks Tower and a 120-tenant shopping mall with rooftop garden. Namba Parks was developed by Jon Jerde of The Jerde Partnership in the footprint of the since closed Osaka Stadium.

Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium (大阪府立体育会館, Ōsaka furitsu taiikukaikan) is an indoor sporting arena located in Namba, Osaka, Japan. It first opened in 1952 and the current building was constructed in 1987. It is the venue of a professional sumo tournament (honbasho) held in March every year. The capacity of the arena is 8,000 people.

Naniwa-ku (浪速区) is one of 24 wards of Osaka, Japan. It has an area of 4.37 km², and a population of 51,567.

Osaka Stadium (大阪球場, owned by Osaka Stadium Corporation (大阪スダヂアム興業株式会社)) was a stadium located in Naniwa-ku, Osaka, Japan. The stadium opened in 1950, with a capacity of 32,000 people. It was built over the site of a red-brick tobacco plant which was destroyed during the bombing of Osaka during World War II.

Nippombashi Station (日本橋駅, Nipponbashi Eki) is a railway station on the two lines of the Osaka Metro in Nippombashi Itchome, Chūō-ku, Osaka, Japan.

The National Bunraku Theatre (国立文楽劇場, Kokuritsu Bunraku Gekijō) is a complex consisting of two halls and an exhibition room, located in Chūō-ku, Osaka, Japan. The complex was opened in 1984 as the fourth national theatre of the country, to become the headquarters of bunraku. The Japan Arts Council, an Independent Administrative Institution of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, operates the National Theatre.

Daikokuchō Station (大国町駅, Daikokuchō-eki) is a railway station on the Osaka Metro in Shikitsu-higashi Sanchome, Naniwa-ku, Osaka, Japan.
