Wanderweg durch das Bodetal, gutes Schuhwerk ist erforderlich. Man folgt immer der Bode. Der Weg ist gut beschildert, ein bisschen Kondition sollte man haben, wenngleich bis Treseburg nur 1 nennenswerte Steigung zu überwinden ist. Das Tal bekommt den Charakter einer Klamm, recht und links mit steil aufragenden Felsen. In Treseburg folgt man kurz links der Straße und biegt dann den mit einem roten Punkt gekennzeichneten Weg Richtung Weißer Hirsch. Da geht es steil knapp 130 Meter rauf und man hat eine tolle Sicht runter nach Treseburg. Vom Weißen Hirsch folgt man dem breiten Forstweg Richtung Thale/Hexentanzplatz. Der Weg ist wenig spektakulär, von Waldschäden und Forstarbeiten geprägt. Von der Seilbahnstation kann man zu Fuß noch 2,5 km serpentinenartig Absteigen. Der Weg ist felsig, aufpassen bei schlechter Witterung!
