Hong Kong Note Printing Limited prints the bank notes of all the three note-issuing banks in Hong Kong. The banknote printing plant was founded in 1984 by Thomas De La Rue in Tai Po Industrial Estate. In April 1996, the Hong Kong Government purchased the plant through the Exchange Fund, and operated it under the current name.

Tai Po Waterfront Park (Chinese: 大埔海濱公園) is a park in Tai Po in the New Territories of Hong Kong. It is located along the Tolo Harbour, and its western end is at the northern part of the mouth of the Lam Tsuen River. It occupies an area of 22 hectares (54 acres), and is the largest park managed by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department.

Tai Po Lookout Tower (Chinese: 香港回歸紀念塔) is a large-scale landmark established to mark the transfer of sovereignty of Hong Kong to the PRC in 1997. It is located near the mouth of the Lam Tsuen River and next to the shore of Tolo Harbour, within Tai Po Waterfront Park, in Tai Po, Hong Kong.Unrelated to the similarly named Tai Po Lookout (which is now a private residence), the Tai Po Lookout Tower is a local tourist attraction.

Tai Po Mega Mall (Chinese: 大埔超級城) is the largest shopping mall in Tai Po, New Territories, Hong Kong. It is owned by Sun Hung Kai Properties and located at On Pong Road, the centre of Tai Po New Town. It is made up of five different zones, with 598,260 square feet (55,580 m2) of retail space. The largest tenants in the Mall are YATA and Park'n Shop.

Norwegian International School (Chinese: 挪威國際學校) located in Hong Kong was established in 1984. Originally named The Norwegian School, its purpose was primarily to provide an education for the children of Norwegian missionaries. During this period of the school's history, Norwegian was the medium of instruction, with English lessons conducted by teachers of English.

Yuen Chau Tsai, was an island in Tolo Harbour, Hong Kong. It is now connected to land by a causeway after land reclamation. It is part of Tai Po New Town in the Tai Po District.The Tai Wong Yeh Temple and Island House are located in the area of the former island.

The Old Tai Po Police Station is a former Hong Kong police station at the top of Tai Po Wan Tau Tong Hill. It is located at No. 11 Wan Tau Kok Lane, Tai Po, New Territories, Hong Kong, near the Old District Office North.
