Swanley & Baddiley, Cheshire

St Michael's Church is in the civil parish of Baddiley, Cheshire, England. It is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building. The church lies at the end of a lane near to Baddiley Hall, formerly the home of the Mainwaring family. It dates from the early 14th century.

Baddiley Hall is a country house in the settlement of Baddiley in Cheshire, England. Previously there was a half-timbered house on the site, but this had been replaced by the current house before the death of its owner, Sir Henry Mainwaring, in 1797. It is constructed in brown brick with a tiled roof, and has an L-shaped plan.

Swanley is a small settlement at SJ618523 in the unitary authority of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. It is divided between two civil parishes, Baddiley and Burland. Nearby settlements include Acton, Burland, Ravensmoor and Stoneley Green.Swanley is located immediately south of a T-junction between Swanley Lane and Springe Lane, and to the east of the Llangollen branch of the Shropshire Union Canal.
