Country house lake

The Parque del Oeste (in English: Western Park) is a park of the city of Madrid (Spain) situated between the Autovía A-6, the Ciudad Universitaria de Madrid and the district of Moncloa. Before the 20th century, the land that the park currently occupies was the main landfill of the city. The park is the initiative of Alberto Aguilera, the mayor of the city at the beginning of the 20th century, who in 1906 requested the layout of a place for walking and relaxation by landscape artist Celedonio Rodrígáñez.

Príncipe Pío (formerly Estación del Norte) is a multimodal station in Madrid, Spain that services Madrid Metro's Line 6, Line 10, and Ramal; Cercanías Madrid's commuter rail lines C-1, C-7, and C-10; and city buses and intercity and long-distance coaches. It is located next to the River Manzanares between the San Vicente roundabout and the streets of Cuesta de San Vicente, Paseo de la Florida, and Paseo del Rey in the district of Moncloa-Aravaca.

The montaña del Príncipe Pío is a hill in the western part of Madrid, Spain.It is named after prince Guillermo Pío de Saboya, a member of the Pio di Savoia family, whose wife Juana de Moura owned property there. Later, barracks (Cuartel de la Montaña) were constructed there. The Madrilene rebels who fought the Napoleonic invaders were executed there on the morning of 3 May 1808, as painted by Francisco de Goya.

The Puente de los Franceses (Bridge of the Frenchmen) railway viaduct is located in Madrid, Spain. Comprising five semi-circular brick skew arches, it was built in the second half of the 19th century to carry the railway line from the north (Madrid - Venta de Baños - Irun) across the River Manzanares.

The Royal Chapel of St. Anthony of La Florida (Spanish: Real Ermita de San Antonio de la Florida) is a Neoclassical chapel in central Madrid. The chapel is best known for its ceiling and dome frescoes by Francisco Goya. It is also his final burial place.

The Teleférico de Madrid, or Madrid Cable Car, is a gondola lift in the Spanish capital city of Madrid. It is 2,457 metres (8,061 ft) long and links the Parque del Oeste with the Casa de Campo. The line was built by Von Roll and opened in 1969. It uses 72 six-seater cabins, which take 11 minutes to travel the full length of the line.
