Raemian Caelitus, previously known as Raemian Ichon Rex, is a complex of three luxury high-rise residential towers in Seoul, South Korea. Tower 101 is Seoul's 12th tallest building and the tallest in Yongsan District. The complex was completed in 2015. Overlooking the Han River in central Seoul, the towers are a prominent sight from the banks of the river.

Hyochang Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Hyochang-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, South Korea. It is currently used mostly for football matches.The stadium has a capacity of 15,194 people. It was built in October 1960 for the 1960 AFC Asian Cup.

The Kim Koo Museum is a museum in Seoul, South Korea which opened on October 22, 2002 to commemorate the life and thoughts of Kim Koo, Korean independence activist against Japanese occupation of Korea. Saenamteo is a location on the north bank of the Han River in Seoul, South Korea. During the Joseon Dynasty it was a sandy area outside the city walls. that was used punishment of political prisoners, including Roman Catholic believers, priests, and missionaries among the Korean Martyrs. A memorial church, consecrated in 1987, now stands on the site and houses a Martyrs' Memorial.

Yongsan District (Korean: 용산구, romanized: Yongsan-gu) is one of the 25 districts of Seoul, South Korea.Yongsan has a population of 313,814 (2010) and has a geographic area of 17.6 km2 (8.4 sq mi), and is divided into 19 dong (administrative neighborhoods). Yongsan is located in central Seoul on the northern bank of the Han River, bordering the city districts of Jung to the north, Mapo to the west, Yeongdeungpo and Dongjak to the southwest, Seocho and Gangnam District to the southeast, and Seongdong to the east.

The Hangang Bridge bombing (Korean: 한강 인도교 폭파, Hanja: 漢江人道橋爆破) was a demolition operation conducted by the South Korean Army to destroy the Hangang Bridge in Seoul, South Korea, on 28 June 1950, to delay the rapid North Korean advance towards the city.On 25 June that year, North Korea invaded South Korea, sparking the Korean War.
