Boon Keng MRT station (NE9) is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the North East line in Kallang, Singapore.Located underneath Serangoon Road just after the traffic junction with Towner Road and Boon Keng Road, Boon Keng station is within a ten-minute walk to Bendemeer MRT station on the Downtown line.

Whampoa is a housing estate located in the subzone of Balestier, which is a part of Novena planning area in Singapore, as defined by the Urban Redevelopment Authority. Within the context of the Housing and Development Board (HDB), however, Whampoa forms part of the Kallang/Whampoa New Town, together with the various housing precincts located in the adjacent Kallang planning area.

Bendemeer Secondary School (abbreviation:BDMSS) is a co-educational neighbourhood government secondary school in Kallang, Singapore. It was established in 1977 and officially declared open in 1978.

Whampoa Single Member Constituency (Simplified Chinese: 黄埔单选区;Traditional Chinese: 黃埔單選區) was a Single Member Constituency located in the eastern region of Singapore. The ward covers the main area of Whampoa. This ward has been carved out from the now defunct Jalan Besar Group Representation Constituency during the 2011 General Election.
