Faropilha Park

The Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (Portuguese: Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul, UFRGS; known as Universidade do Rio Grande do Sul, URGS, between 1947 and 1950) is a Brazilian federal university based in Porto Alegre. UFRGS is among the largest and highest-rated universities in Brazil, having one of the largest number of scientific publications.

Farroupilha Park (Parque Farroupilha in Portuguese), also known as Parque da Redenção, is a major urban park in the city of Porto Alegre, the state capital of Rio Grande do Sul, in Brazil.The park was designed by French architect Alfred Agache and founded in September 19, 1935.Near to the Centro Histórico (Historic Centre), Farroupilha Park is located within a polygon formed by José Bonifácio, João Pessoa, Luiz Englert, Setembrina and Osvaldo Aranha Avenues.

Bom Fim (meaning Good End in English) is a neighborhood in the city of Porto Alegre, the state capital of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil. It was created by the law number 2022 from December 7, 1959.At the beginning of the 20th century, Jewish immigrants were clustered in Bom Fim, where they built a strong community.

The Farroupilha Revolution centennial fair was held in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil to mark 100 years since the Farroupilha Revolution (or Ragamuffin War).
