Debdale

Debdale Park is an inner city park, located in the Gorton area of Manchester, England. At around 45 acres (18 ha), it is one of the largest inner city parks in the City of Manchester.Located in the grounds of Debdale Park there is a members only bowling green, children's play area, multi use games area (MUGA), skate park, tennis courts (courts are free), football pitch, disused 9 hole pitch and putt, toilets, visitor and community centre.

Highfield Country Park is a 70-acre (280,000 m2) area of open land, situated on the east side of Levenshulme, Manchester, that stretches to the east of Broom Avenue across to the rear of Reddish Golf Course and to the junction of Longford Road, Reddish and Nelstrop Road, Levenshulme.Prior to 2004, the park was jointly maintained by Manchester City Council and a group of volunteers called The Friends of Highfield Park.

Nico Ditch is a six-mile (9.7 km) long linear earthwork between Ashton-under-Lyne and Stretford in Greater Manchester, England. It was dug as a defensive fortification, or possibly a boundary marker, between the 5th and 11th century.The ditch is still visible in short sections, such as a 330-yard (300 m) stretch in Denton Golf Course.

Abbey Hey Football Club is a football club based in the Abbey Hey area of Gorton, Manchester, England. They are currently members of the North West Counties League Division One South and play at the Abbey Stadium. The club are full members of the Manchester Football Association.

Hyde Road was a railway station in Gorton, Manchester, England, on the Fallowfield Loop Line. It opened in 1892 and closed in 1958 when local passenger services on the line stopped. The station was sometimes advertised as Hyde Road for Belle Vue, that is, convenient for Belle Vue Zoo, about one mile away.

Gorton Reservoirs are two reservoirs on the boundary of Tameside and Manchester in the North West of England. They are Gorton Upper Reservoir and Gorton Lower Reservoir. The upper and lower sections are separated by a road supported by a stone bridge consisting of a series of arches. They are owned and maintained by United Utilities.

Reddish Electric Depot was an Electric Traction Depot located in Reddish, Stockport, England. The depot was situated on the west side of the line between Hyde Road and Levenshulme stations. Confusingly, neither of the Reddish stations - North and South - were on this line. It was built to service the electric locomotives and local electric multiple units used on the electrified Woodhead Line between Manchester, Sheffield and Wath.

Gorton Heritage Trail is located approximately 3 miles from the centre of Manchester, England. The trail has been designed to promote and conserve the heritage and wildlife of Gore Brook Valley. It lies mainly within the Gore Brook Conservation area. There are eight listed buildings and other places of interest along the trail.
