Klara Sjö (Swedish for "Lake Klara") is a canal in central Stockholm, Sweden.Separating the island Kungsholmen from the northern city district Norrmalm, the canal connects Barnhusviken to Riddarfjärden. Together with Barnhusviken, Karlbergssjön, and Karlbergskanalen, it thus forms part of the nameless body of water which separates Kungsholmen from the mainland districts north and east of it, Norrmalm and Vasastaden.

Hebbes Bro (Swedish: "Bridge of Hebbe") is a pedestrian bridge in Gamla stan, the old town of Stockholm, Sweden, connecting the two islands Riddarholmen and Stadsholmen.The bridge was given the name in 1924 after the building next to it owned by Simon Hebbe (1726–1803), manager at the East India Company, shipowner, and head of division of the national board of trade.

Munkbrohamnen (Swedish: "Monk's Bridge Harbour") is a quay and a footway passing along the western waterfront of Gamla stan, the old town in central Stockholm, Sweden. Stretching along the western side of Centralbron, the motorway and railway bridge passing north-south between the islands Stadsholmen and Riddarholmen, Munkbrohamnen offers pedestrian access from and to the metro station of the old town, and a panoramic view over the bay Riddarfjärden.

Rålambshovsparken (English: Rålambshov Park) is a park on the island of Kungsholmen in the Marieberg district of Stockholm, Sweden.

Gamla stan metro station is a station of the Stockholm metro, located in the district of Gamla stan. It is served by the Red and the Green lines. The station was opened on 24 November 1957 as part of the connection between Slussen and Hötorget which thereby connected east and west parts of the green line.

Eldkvarn was a grand gristmill in central Stockholm that burned in 1878 — an event which was known as "the fire of the century". It was located where today the Stockholm City Hall stands.The mill was built in 1805 for Abraham Niclas Edelcrantz with a steam engine built by Samuel Owen.At the time of the blaze, the fire was known as the fire of the century, because of its ferocity and the fact that it could be seen from many points of the city, dominating the skyline.

Birger Jarls torn (Swedish for Birger Jarl's Tower) is a defensive tower on the northwest corner of Riddarholmen, an islet in Gamla Stan, the old town of Stockholm. The building has been named for Birger Jarl who traditionally is attributed as the founder of Stockholm, but it was built several hundred years later and the name is mostly the product of a 17th-century myth.

Centralbron (Swedish: [sɛnˇtrɑːlˌbruːn], "The Central Bridge") is one of the major traffic routes in central Stockholm, Sweden, connecting the northern district Norrmalm to the southern Södermalm.It is 1,200 metres long and consists of two viaducts passing over Söderström ("Southern Stream") and Riddarfjärden close to Norrström ("Northern Stream") with an interjacent elevated section traversing Riddarholmskanalen and the adjacent eastern waterfront of Riddarholmen.

The Söderledstunneln ("South Way Tunnel") is a tunnel between the Central Bridge and the Johanneshov Bridge on the island of Södermalm in Stockholm. It is 1,550 metres long and traverses the island from north to south.Building started on 9 October 1984. On the stretch between Brännkyrkagatan and Folkungagatan an earlier tunnel called Södergatan had been built in 1944 in a cut-and-cover trench.

Poppius journalistskola is Scandinavia's oldest journalism school. The school was founded in 1947 in Stockholm by the journalist and editor Set Poppius who had a long working life of experience in the field of journalism.The school was founded during a period when the earlier volunteer system had stopped working and before state funded journalism schools started in the early 1960s.
