The Citadel of Lille (French: Citadelle de Lille; Dutch: Citadel van Rijsel) is a pentagonal citadel of the city wall of Lille, in France. It was built between 1667-1670. It hosts the Corps de réaction rapide France.Dubbed "Queen of the citadels" (Reine des citadelles) by Vauban, it is one of the most notable citadels designed by Vauban.

HEI Lille or École des Hautes Études d’Ingénieur (French for School of High Studies in Engineering) is a private school of engineering located in Lille, France, member of Lille Catholic University and a French Grande École. The Jardin botanique Nicolas Boulay is a botanical garden operated by the Faculty of Medicine at the Université Catholique de Lille, Lille, Nord, Nord-Pas-de-Calais, France.The garden is named in honor of Abbé Jean-Nicolas Boulay (1837-1905), and is one of three botanical gardens in Lille, the others being the Jardin des Plantes de Lille and the Jardin botanique de la Faculté de Pharmacie at the Université de Lille 2.

Stade Henri-Jooris was a sports stadium in Lille, France. The stadium, used mostly for football matches was able to hold 15,000 people and was home stadium of Olympique Lillois and Lille OSC.Originally it was known as Stade de l'avenue de Dunkerque; from 1907 to 1943, the stadium's name was the Stade Victor Boucquey.

University and Polytechnic Federation of Lille (French: Fédération Universitaire et Polytechnique de Lille), which also goes by the name Lille Catholic University (French: Université Catholique de Lille) ("Catho"), is a private federation of Catholic-inspired institutions established in 1973. Its history dates back to 1875 when the first of these institutions was created.

Stade Grimonprez-Jooris was a multi-purpose stadium in Lille, France built in 1974. It was used mainly for football matches as it was home to the Lille OSC football club from 1975 until 2004, when the stadium was closed.The club originally planned to have Grimonprez-Jooris redeveloped into a 33,000-seat stadium, but this proposal was rejected, and the Grand Stade Lille Métropole was constructed instead.
