Ang Mo Kio Town Garden West is a community park that is situated opposite Ang Mo Kio Town Library, along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6.The park is popular for recreational activities including jogging and a children's playground, and there is a McDonald's restaurant located at the western side of the park and features a drive-thru facility.

Raffles Institution (RI), founded in 1823, is the oldest school in Singapore for pre-tertiary education. Anderson Secondary School (Chinese: 安德逊中学; pinyin: ān dé xùn zhōng xúe) is a co-educational government school in Ang Mo Kio, Singapore, covering Secondary 1 to Secondary 5 (usually ages 13 to 17). It became an autonomous school in 1994 and was one of the pioneer autonomous schools in Singapore.

Marymount MRT station (CC16) is an underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station on the Circle line in Bishan, Singapore.Located underneath Marymount Road near the junction of Marymount Lane and Bishan Street 21, this station provides MRT access to residents living in the western part of Bishan New Town, as well as students and staff of the nearby Raffles Institution.

Ang Mo Kio Secondary School (AMKSS) (Chinese: 茂乔中学) is a government co-educational secondary school in Ang Mo Kio, Singapore, covering levels Secondary 1 to Secondary 5. Students at AMKSS are known as AMKsians.

Ang Mo Kio Bus Interchange is located in Ang Mo Kio Town Centre, Singapore. The interchange is within AMK Hub which is in turn linked to Ang Mo Kio MRT station via a pedestrian underpass below Ang Mo Kio Avenue 8. The interchange was opened by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong.The interchange is the third to be fully air-conditioned in Singapore after the Toa Payoh Bus Interchange and the Sengkang Bus Interchange, and similarly features automated sliding doors at each of its six berths that will open only when the bus reaches the berths.

Ang Mo Kio Public Library (Simplified Chinese: 宏茂桥社区图书馆) is one of the 26 public libraries established by the National Library Board of Singapore.Located along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 6 within walking distance of Yio Chu Kang MRT station, it serves the residents of the surrounding Ang Mo Kio GRC. As a standalone two-storey building, the library is a prominent landmark in central Ang Mo Kio.

The Al-Muttaqin Mosque (Malay: Masjid Al-Muttaqin) is a mosque in Ang Mo Kio, Singapore. It is the fifth mosque completed in the country under the Mosque Building Fund Scheme Phase I. The mosque's official ground-breaking ceremony was officiated by Mr Syed Ali Redha Alsagoff, chairman of Lembaga Biasiswa Kenangan Maulud (LBKM), on April 29, 1979 and it was officially opened on September 2, 1980 by the late Mr Rahmat Kenap (MP for Geylang Serai).
