The Buenos Aires Zoo was an 45-acre (18 ha) zoo in the Palermo district of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The zoo contained 89 species of mammals, 49 species of reptiles and 175 species of birds, with a total of over 2,500 animals. The institution's goals are to conserve species, produce research and to educate the public.

The Buenos Aires Lawn Tennis Club is a private tennis club located in the Palermo neighborhood of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The club is the host of the ATP Buenos Aires, an ATP Tour tournament played on clay. The main stadium court, Horacio Billoch Caride Stadium, has a capacity of 5,500 spectators and is named after former club president Horacio Billoch Caride.

Avenida General Sarmiento is an avenue located in the Palermo neighborhood, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It runs from Plaza Italia to the Costanera Rafael Obligado Avenue, across the Parque Tres de Febrero.

The Club Atlético Excursionistas stadium does not have an official name, and is thus simply referred to as Estadio de Excursionistas or colloquially as Pampa y Miñones or El Coliseo del Bajo Belgrano.The stadium was built in 1911 in the traditional Buenos Aires neighborhood of Belgrano (more specifically what is known as "Bajo Belgrano"), and it comprises the full block between streets La Pampa, Miñones, Migueletes and José Hernández.

The 4.865 km (3.022 m) circuit used a layout of public roads within the north-end of the Palermo park complex (adjacent to the Hipodromo Argentino), to host the Buenos Aires Grand Prix from 1948 to 1950.

Parque Tres de Febrero, popularly known as Bosques de Palermo (Palermo Woods), is an urban park of approximately 400 hectares (about 989 acres) located in the neighborhood of Palermo in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Located between Libertador and Figueroa Alcorta Avenues, it is known for its groves, lakes, and rose gardens (El Rosedal).

Plaza Italia is a small park in the city of Buenos Aires in the barrio of Palermo on the confluence of Santa Fe Avenue and Avenida Sarmiento. Next to the plaza are the main entrances to the Zoo and the Botanical Gardens, and the la Rural Expo Center. The area is very busy with traffic, as it is a public transportation hub for the city.
