Aswan Botanical Garden

The Aswan Botanical Garden is located on a green and beautiful island, in the middle of the Nile river - Kitchener Island. The only way you can get here is by a felucca boat. The Nile’s view is wonderful. An easy-to-walk Botanical Garden for all ages. We entered at the main entrance and arranged for our boat to pick us up on the other entrance, a half an hour later. Several paths, lots of greenery and shade, benches to rest, bathroom facilities, an outdoor restaurant on the island and a terrace where you can see the Nile - a wonderful view, too. Good to know: in the Botanical Garden there is a local bazaar for buying some souvenirs. This route was a short and nice walk on the way to a Nubian village.
