Увлекательная прогулка от улицы Бауманская до Лубянки. Вначале маршрута проходим до улицы Краснопрудная и направляемся в сторону площади Трёх вокзалов. Проходим мимо Казанского, Ярославского, Ленинградского вокзалов в сторону проспекта Сахарова. Далее следуем по Садовому кольцу в сторону Большой Сухаревской площади, далее по Сретенке направляемся до Лубянской площади. От Лубянки проходим Старую и Новую площадь. Маршрут заканчивается в Китай-городе. На всём протяжении маршрута встречаются культурные и архитектурно-исторические памятники, в том числе многочисленные бывшие городские усадьбы XVII-XIX веков, Сретенский монастырь, Церковь Живоначальной Троицы в Листах и многие другие.

Sretensky Monastery (Russian: Сретенский монастырь) is an Orthodox monastery in Moscow, founded by Grand Prince Vasili I in 1397. It used to be located close to the present-day Red Square, but in the early 16th century it was moved northeast to what is now Bolshaya Lubyanka Street. The Sretensky Monastery gave its name to adjacent streets and byways, namely Sretenka Street, Sretensky Boulevard, Sretensky Lane, Sretensky Deadend, and Sretensky Gates Square.

The Sukharev Tower (Сухарева башня) was a Moscow landmark until its destruction by Soviet authorities in 1934. Tsar Peter I of Russia had the tower built in the Moscow baroque style at the intersection of the Garden Ring with Sretenka Street in 1692–1695.
