L'Avenue de Champagne (The Champagne Avenue) is a famous street located in Épernay, the 'Capital of champagne', in the Grand Est Région of France.Its name derives from the presence of many leading champagne producers such as Moët et Chandon, Mercier and De Castellane.Residents say that this avenue is the most expensive in the world, more so than the Champs-Élysées in Paris, because of the millions of bottles of champagne stored in the kilometres of chalk cellars beneath it.

De Castellane is a Champagne producer based in the Épernay region of Champagne. The house, founded in 1895, produces both vintage and non-vintage cuvee as well as a blanc de blancs Chardonnay Champagne. The house is currently under the ownership of Laurent-Perrier.

The arrondissement of Épernay is an arrondissement of France in the Marne department in the Grand Est region. It has 210 communes. Its population is 120,269 (2016), and its area is 2,722.4 km2 (1,051.1 sq mi).

Épernay is the railway station serving the town Épernay, Marne department, northern France. It is situated on the Paris–Strasbourg railway and the Épernay–Reims railway.

The canton of Épernay-2 is an administrative division of the Marne department, northeastern France. Its borders were modified at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Its seat is in Épernay.It consists of the following communes:

The town sits on the left bank of the Marne at the extremity of the Cubry valley which crosses it.Épernay is a sub-prefecture of the department and seat of an arrondissement.
